The Hancock County Farm Bureau Young Leaders will host their 7th annual “Salute to Ag” Golf Outing on Friday, September 1, at Deer Run Golf Course in Hamilton. Check-in will begin at 11:00 a.m., with a shotgun start at 12:00 p.m. Dinner and awards will follow golf, at approximately 5:30 p.m. Cost is $75 per person or $300 for a team of four, which includes 18 holes of golf with carts, and dinner. There will also be a hog raffle, games and more at the event. Payout will be: 1st Place $500, 2nd Place $400, 3rd Place $300. Additional prizes for games, etc. will be awarded.

Event sponsors for the 2023 Young Leaders Golf Outing will be named at the event. For sponsorship information, please contact Libbie Pollock at 217-357-3141. Proceeds from the “Salute to Ag” Golf Outing will support Hancock County Ag in the Classroom programming and scholarships for Hancock County students pursuing careers in agriculture.
